William Thatcher

Hullo! I'm William Thatcher and I lived at Pumpkin Patch before Bec adopted me. Bec named me after the knight in the movie "A Knight's Tale" because she said my vest reminded her of his tunic (I don't know what a tunic is... but I like my name and my vest very much!) Bec cuddles me lots and talks to me about lots and lots of things and I do very good listening and comforting. My beary best friends are Toby & Patch.

Hullo everybear! Thankyou for the warm welcomes!!! I don't feel so shy now. Toby and I have been having lots of fun getting ready for Red Nose Day - Toby got a Red Nose but I didn't want that much attention so I got a Din-NOSE-saur instead. Here is a picture of us!

Hullo? My name is William Thatcher but everybear calls me Thatcher or Thatch. Bec, my pawtner, calls me her "comfort bear" because I am always, always there for her to talk to or just cuddle. I'm a shy bear so Bec suggested I start writing a blog here like my bestest friend Toby Bear does. Toby Bear is so much fun and not at all shy!!! Bec named me after the knight in the movie "A Knight's Tale" because she says my vest and its toggle reminds her of the tunic he wears. I love to spend time with Bec, snuggle under the doona, watch TV - especiall the "Lifestyle You" channel!! There are so many shows about real life stories that are so interesting or funny or weird!!!

I live with 49 other bears (but that might be more by the time you read this because Bec loves to adopt bears and there is aways somebear new coming to live with us) but my favorite bears are Toby and Patch. I'm really really lucky because I get to live on Bec's bed or sit with Bec on the couch to watch TV. And Bec cuddles me every night! I'm a very lucky bear!

In a few weeks I get to go on my first big adventure - a trip to Indonesia!!! Bec said of course she would take me, and she is even going to buy me some new outfits especially for the trip!!! I can't wait - it is going to be so much fun! I just hope I don't get too hot...

Bec wants to go to bed now so I have to go. By for now,
